As one of the largest cities in the world, London has no shortages of things to do. I recently made my second visit to London, and once again found myself wishing for more time.

Must Do: Notting Hill area
This upscale yet trendy area is home to the world-famous Portobello Road, the most fashionable shops and restaurants in the city, and some of the best dressed people you’ll see anywhere. Make a day of it by strolling through Hyde Park (my personal favorite fall thing to do in London) and checking out Kensington Palace along the way.

Must Do: Soho
If you’re going to go to one museum in your life, let the British Museum be that museum. Artifacts from all over the world are well preserved and on display at this entirely free cultural hub. Warning—to see the entire museum, make sure you book a ticket time earlier in the day. I’d recommend at least four hours. When you finally manage to escape the giant building the museum is in, take a look around the surrounding Soho area, one of the trendiest spots in the city.

Must Do: The West End
To really experience the heart of London, plunge into the crowds of Oxford Street and Covent Garden and head to a show in the West End, debatably the best theatre district in the world. From comedy to tragedy and everything in between, West End shows are the perfect escape from reality (plus, the English accent really enhances the whole experience when characters are just talking). I’ve seen Hamilton, Matilda, and Caberet in London, and loved all three. Caberet, in particular, was the best show I’ve ever watched—the whole theatre was rebuilt as a set in order to make the audience feel as though they’re in 20th century Berlin, complete with pre-show live music and dancing.

Must Do—Eat Indian Food
I don’t really have anything to elaborate on with this one—the Indian food in London is just that good. Eat some.
Till next time, London! Maybe lucky number visit three will be the time I stay for good?
